Obituary for Gregory Ross "Greg" Blackmon
Funeral services for Gregory Ross “Greg” Blackmon, 35, of Heath Springs, will be held at 4:00 o’clock p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Cotton Pate will officiate. Greg will be cremated following the funeral services.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 3, one hour prior to the service beginning at 3:00 o’clock p.m. at the funeral home.
Greg passed away, Friday. September 28, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born in Camden SC, November 11, 1982. He was an automotive technician. Greg enjoyed drawing, playing with his children, cooking and working on cars.
Surviving are his loving wife and partner of 7 1/2 years, Jessica Hinson Blackmon of Heath Springs; 5 year old daughter, Quorra Raven Blackmon; 3 year old son, James Wylie Blackmon; his parents, Richard and Tammy Blackmon of Kershaw; brothers, Major Justin Lee Blackmon, USMC and his wife Anna of Virginia Beach, VA, Jacob Shaw of Lexington and Sidney Shaw of Kershaw; his mother-in-law, Dawn Mechelle Pate of Ocala, FL and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, SC 29067 to help with funeral expenses.
