Melinda Faye Adams Parker

Melinda Faye Adams Parker, age 68, passed away, Saturday morning, April 18, 2026, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C. she was a daughter of the late James Adams and Carolyn Oliver Adams. Mrs. Parker was formerly employed in the textile industry. She enjoyed coloring and the outdoors. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Squirt-Squirt.

She is survived by 2 sons, Christopher Parker (Pamela Rollins) and Michael Parker (Alexus Plyler); 3 grandchildren, Ashley Jacobs (Christopher), Jessie Parker and Caroline Parker; 2 great grandchildren, Emmaleigh Jacobs and Madilynn Jacobs and 2 sisters, Melisa Kern (Jay) and Janet Smith (Zach Wright).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Archie Parker and a brother, Robert Adams.

The family will gather at Ashley’s home on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. to remember her life.
