Obituary for Betty Jean Stevens
Graveside services for Betty Jean Geiger Stevens, 68, of Kershaw, S.C., will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Jenkins will officiate.
Mrs. Stevens, widow of Fred Stevens died Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Jefferson, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Jake and Grace Rollins Geiger. She retired from the textile industry and was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sister, Carol G. (David) Taylor of Kershaw, S.C.; 2 brothers, Howard (Vickie) Geiger of Kershaw, S.C. and Tony Lewis (Frances) Geiger of Jefferson, S.C. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by a sister, Gail G. Byrd and 3 brothers, Billy Joe Geiger, Jackie Geiger and Jerry Wayne Geiger.
The family will receive friends, Monday, October 9, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 o’clock p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, 4312 Mt. Pisgah Road, Kershaw, S.C.
