Larry Carl Shrader

Larry Carl Shrader, age 74 of Heath Springs, S.C. passed away, Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at his home. Born in Williamston, S.C., he was a son of the late L.C. Shrader and Inez McJunkin Shrader. He was a retired electrician and a member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, guns and cars. He was a true outdoors man.

Mr. Shrader served in the United States Army for 3 years during the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by his son, Jacob Carl Shrader of Heath Springs, S.C., 4 sisters, Nancy Christine Joy of Kershaw, S.C., Kathy Eloise Cox of Kannapolis, N.C., Lisa Sue Helen Carnes of Lancaster, S.C. and Lois Lavon Pressley of Belmont, N.C. and a brother, Trent Douglas Shrader of Lancaster, S.C. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Clay Shrader and 2 brothers, Harold Gene Ross and Calvin Furman Shrader.

The family will receive friends, Monday, November 3, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C.

The funeral service to celebrate Mr. Shrader’s life will be held immediately following the visitation, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will follow in the Flint Ridge Baptist Church cemetery.
