Brenda Louise Elliott

Brenda Louise Elliott, age 68, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away, Friday, October 31, 2025. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Ellie Lee Elliott, II and Ethel Short Elliott. Brenda was a clerk in the retail industry. Brenda’s faith was strong, and she loved the Lord. Her church was very important to her. She loved her church family and cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Alison Truesdale and her husband, Daryl; 2 sons, Jamie Medlin and Justin Hegler and his wife, Erica; 6 grandchildren, Greer Sims and her husband, Jon, Gracyn Beckham, Laykin Truesdale, Logan Truesdale, Brennon Hegler, Railey Hegler; a great grandson, Knox Sims; her sister in law, Cheryl Elliott and her brother in law, Charlie F. Catoe. She is also survived by some bonus kids and family who she loved very much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ellie Lee Elliott, III and Ralph Elliott and a sister, Deborah Elliott Catoe.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church, Lancaster. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Rev. Jesse Adams will officiate. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will also receive friends at the home of her daughter.
