Candace B. Aivaz

Candace Yvette Blackwell Aivaz, age 65 of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Sunday evening, October 19, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland, Columbia, S.C. She was born in Lancaster, S.C. on December 6, 1959. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School. She enjoyed working in her yard and landscaping. Mrs. Aivaz was a wonderful cook. She was a football fan, especially the Pittsburgh Stealers. She cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. Candace and her late husband, Mark met exactly 40 years to the day of her passing.

She leaves behind; her 2 daughters, Heather Aivaz and Ashley Aivaz; 2 grandchildren, Mason Denton and Emily Denton; her dog, Lucy; her lifelong best friend, Denise Langley Knight and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Aivaz; 2 sisters, Faye Taylor and Beverly Blackwell and her brother, Tony Blackwell.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon at Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. The family will greet friends following the gathering at the funeral home.
