Louise Holden Truesdale, 78, died Monday, September 2, at her home. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Connie Reeves Holden. Mrs. Truesdale was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church and a member of the King’s Daughters Sunday School Class. She was valedictorian of her senior class at Mt Pisgah High School. She was a homemaker and excellent seamstress. Mrs. Truesdale loved her family and church family dearly.
Surviving are her husband, William H. Truesdale; son, Mike (Angie) Roberts of Kershaw; daughter, Patti (Jon) Stover of Kershaw; stepson, Bryan Truesdale of Kershaw; grandchildren, Jason (Leah) Roberts of Marion, N.C. , Kristi (Tim) Amason of Lancaster, Nikki (Brandon) Gainey of Jefferson, and Emily Stover of Rock Hill; great grandchildren, Tyler and Turner Amason, Brantley and Bailey Grace Gainey, and Luke and Elizabeth Roberts; sisters, Katherine Hudson of Camden, Rosa Lee Munn of Camden, and Ann Vincent of Birmingham, AL and brother, Willie Holden of Camden. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wendell H. Roberts.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Sand Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the burial in the church fellowship hall.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Truesdale’s name to Sand Hill Baptist Church, 6895 Highway 341, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
A special thank you to her wonderful caregivers, Jill Dixon, Vera Young, Jean Farmer, Esther Kennington, Debra Dixon, and Robin Ihm. The family would also like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care, Palmetto Region, Fort Mill, S.C. for the love and care shown to them.
