Brigette Michelle Garris Rainey

Brigette Michelle Garris Rainey, 63, of Kershaw, South Carolina, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Born in Lancaster, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Ralph “Red” Garris and Lucille Patsy Whitaker Garris. Brigette was a former employee of Springs Industries who lived life to the fullest. She loved singing and dancing and, above all, treasured the time she spent with her family. Her beloved dog, Marley, also held a special place in her heart.

Brigette is survived by her loving husband, Robert Henry Rainey, Jr., whom she married in 1997; her children, Tiffany Putnam, Jennifer Hinson, Michael Rainey, Allen Rainey, and Kimberly Rainey; her grandchildren, Logan Putnam, Misty Putnam, Kyrstyn Hinson, Skyler Hinson, Ben Hinson, Tammy Sue Rainey, Brian Rainey, Trenton Rainey, and Josh Rainey; and her sister, Phyllis Ivey.

Arrangements are under the care of Baker Funeral Home in Kershaw, South Carolina.
