Obituary for Willie T. "Bill" Payne
Funeral services for Willie Blanche “Bill” Twitty Payne, 93, of Kershaw, S.C., will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, in the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Rev. Ronnie Hinson and Mr. Jeff Jackson will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
Mrs. Payne, loving wife of the late Claude Payne, Jr., died Thursday, December 28, 2017, at White Oak Manor, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was a daughter of the late John Twitty and Sarah Elizabeth Faulkenberry Twitty. She was an employee for a number of years at Springs Industries and Griffin’s 88 cent store. She was also a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Sandra (Jack) Blackmon, Sherry (Timmy) Sullivan and Yvonne (Dennis) Vincent all of Kershaw, S.C., a son, Donnie (Rita) Payne of Kershaw, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, December 30, 2017, from 1:00 to 2:00 o’clock p.m. prior to the service in the Kershaw Second Baptist Church Family Life Center and other times at the home of her daughter, 5155 Fernwood Drive, Kershaw, S.C.
