Dianne Bowers Roberts

Dianne Bowers Roberts, aged 80, of Westville, S.C., passed away Tuesday evening, September 15, 2026, at her home.

Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Grover Coleman Bowers, Sr. and Blanche Louise Baker Bowers. Mrs. Roberts was a graduate of Baron DeKalb High School and a faithful member of Refuge Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Springs Industries and found great joy in helping others through home healthcare for families.

Mrs. Roberts enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, working puzzles, and spending time helping those around her. Music was also a special part of her life, and she often played the piano at her church.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Davey Allen Roberts (Frances) and Clint Brady Roberts (Cathy); two grandchildren, Courtney Carmichael and Coleman Roberts, one great grandson, Sawyer Carmichael; and her siblings, Travis Bowers (Linda), Voncille Sims, Edward Bowers, and Vivian Huggins (Fred).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ludlow Roberts, and her siblings, Grady Roberts, Roddy Lee Bowers, G.C. Bowers, Jr., Wayne Bowers, Debra Bowers Truesdale, and Dennis C. Bowers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Refuge Baptist Church Family Life Center. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., also in the Family Life Center, with Rev. Todd Gandy officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
