Obituary for Ralph "Bud" Eldreth
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ralph ”Bud” Eldreth, 84, of Liberty Hill, will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, October 1, in the sanctuary of Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church, Liberty Hill. The Revs. Gene Ghent and Dorothy Killian will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors and Masonic Rites.
Mr. Eldreth died Thursday, September 28, in KershawHealth, Camden. He was born in Ashe Co., N.C. and a member of Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church. Mr. Eldreth retired from the iron construction industry and served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He also enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Flat Rock Masonic Lodge # 178. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Goodman Eldreth.
Surviving are 3 sons, Randy Eldreth and his wife Janet of Sanford, N.C., Ricky Eldreth and his wife Sally of Pawley’s Island, S.C. and Ronnie Eldreth and his wife Susan of Camden, S.C.; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Joanne Killingsworth of Eastland, TX.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, September 30, from 3:00 to 5:00 o’clock p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw.
