Obituary for Karen W. Williams

Karen Belinda Wright Williams, 55, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away, Monday evening, October 17, 2022, at her home. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of Bobby Gene Wright and Betty Jean Adams Wright. She was a homemaker and had worked in daycare. She loved her grandchildren. Karen also enjoyed cooking and going out to eat.


She was married to the late Robert Harold Williams. She is survived by 2 daughters, Erica (Chris) Adams and Amy Williams; grandchildren, Dylan Thurman, Lillee Adams, Noah Adams, Cooper Williams, Fisher Williams and Karson and Jaxon who called her Nana; her brother, Bobby “Goober” (Laura) Wright and her sister, Tammy Robertson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeremiah Harold “Spud” Williams.


A viewing and the greeting friends will be held, Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2022, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C.


A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held, Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Anders will officiate.


Arrangements are under the care of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C.
