Obituary for Brandon Oran Baker
Brandon Oran Baker, 33, of Lexington and formerly of Heath Springs, passed away suddenly, Wednesday , September 16, 2020, at his home. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Mark Oran Baker and Lisa Jenkins Ray. Brandon was employed with Elite Builders and attended Gethsemane Baptist Church. He loved his church. Brandon enjoyed fishing, golfing and bee keeping.

Surviving are his son, Joel Oran Baker; his father, Mark Oran Baker and his wife, Amy; his mother, Lisa Jenkins (Lane Johnson) Ray; his step-father, Tony Ray; 3 sisters, Brooke Hoopaugh, Maygen Reese and Mallory Ray; nieces, Palmer and Addison; a nephew, Ian and his son’s mother, Ashli Newell.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, September 20, 2020, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Stephen Williamson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Heath Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church, 300 Alliance Road, Lexington, S.C. 29073.
