She and her late husband owned and operated Iwa's Restaurant in Kershaw, S.C. for many years.

A graveside service will be held, Saturday morning, August 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Frankie Melton will officiate the service.
The family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery.
