Obituary for Jackie L. Coates
Jackie L. Coates, 76, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in Colonial at Old Camden, Camden, S.C. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Jack Coates and Annie Mae Marsh Coates. Jackie was a faithful member of Shamrock Baptist Church and had retired from Springs Industries. She loved her church family and her cats.

Surviving are a number of cousins and a host of friends that will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rebecca Coates Farmer and her husband, Jack and Bessie Pauline Coates.

Graveside services will be held, Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., in Shamrock Baptist Church Cemetery, Bethune, S.C. The Revs. Matthew Dickerson and Jackie Knight will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials in her memory may be directed to Shamrock Baptist Church, 3573 Porter Road, Bethune, S.C. 29009.
