William Monroe "Billy" Melton, Sr.

William Monroe “Billy” Melton, Sr., 80, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at his residence. Born in Moncks Corner, S.C., on January 3, 1944, to the late Monroe D. Melton and Janie Brunson Melton, Billy was a truck driver.

Surviving him are his daughter, Karen Bacon, and her husband, Bruce; son, William Monroe “Will” Melton, Jr., and his wife, Ashley; and five grandchildren: Morgan Bacon, Madelyn (Kaleb) Boland, Blake Melton, Brady Melton, and Vixey Anna Melton.

Memorial remembrances in honor of Mr. Melton may be made to the Thiel-Meyer Pet Adoption Center, 128 Black River Road, Camden, S.C. 29020.
