William Thomas “Tommy” Faulkenberry, 64, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C.
Born in Lancaster, S.C., Tommy was the son of the late Harold William Faulkenberry and Ruby Brazell Faulkenberry. He was a proud 1979 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and later attended York Technical College. Tommy worked for several years as an electrician.
Tommy enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and duck and deer hunting. He was an avid Andrew Jackson Volunteer sports fan and rarely missed his children’s sporting events. A devoted supporter of the Carolina Gamecocks, he cheered them on faithfully. He also had a special love for his cats.
He is survived by his five children, Lauren Faulkenberry of Kershaw, S.C., Will Faulkenberry of Kershaw, S.C., Corley Faulkenberry and his wife, Sidney, of Fort Mill, S.C., Brady Faulkenberry of the home, and Ryleigh Faulkenberry of the home; three grandchildren, Blakely, Drew, and Deuce, all of Kershaw, S.C.; his sister, Elaine F. Gardner and her husband, Ronnie, of Blythewood, S.C.; and his niece, Hailey O’Cain and her husband, Daniel, of Blythewood, S.C.
A memorial service celebrating Tommy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in the sanctuary of Oakhurst Baptist Church, 394 Barret Road, Heath Springs, S.C., with the Revs. Sean Stroud and Todd Gandy officiating.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the church Fellowship Hall prior to the service and at other times at the home.
Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Tommy’s memory may do so by sending contributions to Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067, to assist the family with expenses.
