Virginia 'Peggy' Hicks

Memorial services for Virginia Sanders Peggy Hicks, 80, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 12, at Baker Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Hugh McKinney will officiate.

Mrs. Hicks died Sunday, January 3 at her home. She was born in Bennettsville, S.C. She was a registered nurse and of Mormon faith. She was married to the late Edward Maurice Hicks.

Surviving are her late husband's family; a brother-in-law; Harry Hicks and his wife Ethel of Kershaw, two sisters-in-law; Jannette Hillard of Heath Springs and Patsy Holden and her husband Willie of Camden and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
