Thelma Ray Sistare

Graveside services for Thelma Ray Sistare , 91 of Lancaster will be held at 2:00 o’clock pm, Saturday, May 19, in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Rev. Brad Threatt will officiate.

Ms. Sistare died Wednesday evening, May 16, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Etta Roberts Ray. She retired from Springs Industries.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Jerri Moore and her husband, William “Butch” , Barbara Garris and her husband, Perry “Pete” and Robin Stalls all of Lancaster; 2 sons, John Sistare and his wife Rita and Mark Sistare all of Lancaster; 7 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by one grandson.

Memorial contributions in memory of Ms. Sistare may be made to Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
