Shirley Jean Baker

Shirley Jean “Stella” Baker, 67, of Kershaw, passed away, Monday evening, March 2, at her home. Born in Bethune, she was a daughter of the late Oree Baker and Mary Lee Johnson Baker. Shirley was employed in the food service industry and loved playing on the computer.

Surviving are 4 children, Pamela B. Kirkley of Kershaw, Wendell G. (Trish) Baker of Kershaw, Wanda B. (Tony) Wright of Kershaw and Ricky D. (Pam) Baker of Lancaster; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Earl Baker of Cassatt; 3 sisters, Gayle Baker of Lugoff, Iris McDonald of Lugoff and Barbara Thompson of Bethune.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Ralph, Ronnie, Bobby, Rex, Dale, Joyce, Jessie Lee, Diane and Pam.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, March 5, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Wanda Wright.
