Shirley Faile

A graveside service for Shirley Carnes Faile, 69, of Kershaw will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, in New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Buddy Thomas and Mr. John Jenkins will officiate.

Mrs. Faile died Wednesday, September 28, at her home. Born in Pageland, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Williams Carnes. Mrs. Faile loved going to the beach and traveling.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Lee Roy Faile; 2 daughters, Karen Faile Johnson ( Marty) of Lancaster and Jennifer Faile Rathel (Jesse) of Kershaw; 3 grandchildren, Seth Johnson, Madison Rathel, and Blake Johnson and her best friend, Carol Faulkenberry. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Dwight and Roger Carnes and a sister, Mary Platts.
