Sarepta Owens Morgan

Sarepta Owens Morgan, age 86, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, April 13, 2026, at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown in Columbia, S.C.

Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Harry Reese Owens, Sr. and Lucille Pitts Owens. Mrs. Morgan was a proud graduate of Kershaw High School and a devoted member of Bethany Baptist Church in Westville, S.C. Throughout her working years, she was employed by Springs Industries, Grace Bleachery, and Kanawha Insurance Company.

She found great joy in crocheting and treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. Her warm spirit and love for those around her will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Charles Lewis Morgan, whom she married on July 19, 1957; her son, Chuck Morgan; her grandson, Chadwick Adams; her granddaughters, Amy Morgan and Kalle Morgan Gibson; and her great-grandchildren, Reese Adams, Breanne Adams, Laci Faile, and Keegan Gibson. She is also survived by her brothers, Dr. Charles Jerry Owens and his wife, Glenda, and Harry Reese Owens, Jr.; her sister, Linda Gay Robinson; and her beloved granddog, Baby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Andy Lee Morgan; her sisters, Harriett Threatt and Sandra Parker; and her brother, Steve Owens.

A visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C.

In keeping with her wishes, no formal services will be held.
