Sarah H Blackmon

Sarah Humphries Blackmon, 88, died Monday, July 26, at MUSC – Lancaster. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Flint Ridge Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Jerry Broughton will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 27. from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blackmon, widow of Cilfford Blackmon, was born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Realous B. and Daisy Starnes Humphries.

Mrs. Blackmon was a member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church. She was a loving Mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by many.

Surviving are children, Tony Blackmon (Wendy) of Heath Springs, and Shirley Needham (Bob) of Heath Springs; grandchildren, Mark Baker (Brooke), Jade Harris (Tommy), Kimberly Bennett (Wade), Jamie White (Ben), and Melanie Reed; 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Frances Alexander. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Wells.
