Sam B. Hutchinson

Sam Ben Hutchinson, 68, of Lancaster, S.C., formerly of McMillan Michigan, passed away, Monday, July 19, 2021, at his home. Born in Elba, Michigan, he was a son of the late Harold Dale Hutchinson and Lena Gertrude Turner Ream. He was a heavy equipment operator. He also loved working on motors, tractors and woodworking.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doris A. Wright Hutchinson; his son, Sam Ray Hutchinson; his daughter-in-law, Mary Hutchinson; his daughter, Maggie Ann Marie King; his son-in-law, Aaron King; grandchildren, Grace Bell (Chris), Cassandra Truax (Ian), Allan King, Aaron King, Jr. (Leah), Ray Ben Hutchinson, Mae Ann Curry (Sam Holmes), Sean Lee (Darby), Tiffany Sullivan and Whitney Lee; great grandchildren, Christopher, Natilynn, Brooklyn, Sterling, Carl, Rachael, Keenan and Delaney; siblings, Kathy Ream, Jill Wright and Don Hutchinson; half siblings, John Hutchinson, Harold Hutchinson, Tina Hutchinson and Jeanie Panther; his step-mother, Jill Hutchinson and his sister-in-law, Sharon Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Carl Curry and a half brother, Jerry Hutchinson.
