Robert Larry Eudy, age 77, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away Tuesday evening, April 7, 2026, at his home.
Born in Monroe, N.C., he was the son of the late Robert Earl Eudy and Edith Evelyn Rodgers Eudy. Mr. Eudy worked many jobs throughout his life including a supervisor with Springs Industries, a SC Correctional Officer, as well as a truck driver for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as woodworking and building things with his hands. He especially cherished spending time with his grandchildren and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends. He also had a special love for his dogs.
Mr. Eudy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was a faithful member of Abney Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Marie Outen Eudy; and his siblings, Becky Eudy, Benny Eudy, Steve Eudy, and Lloyd Eudy.
He is survived by his two daughters, Angie Hardin (Lee) and Lana Walden (Rev. Tim); five grandchildren, Trey Hardin (Jenna), Robert Hardin (Taylor), Michaela Sweet-Walden (Luke), McKennley Walden (Lauren), and Ronan Sweet-Walden; three great-grandchildren, Julia Fauser, Jackson Fauser, and Mason Fauser; his brother, Doug Eudy (Debra); his sister, Delaine Polk (Larry); and his special friend, Bonnie S. Truesdale.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, April 10, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 210 East Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C., and at other times at the family home.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Abney Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Scott Robinson. A committal service will follow in the church cemetery, conducted by his son-in-law, Rev. Tim Walden, with military honors.
