Richard Wayne Mangum

Richard Wayne Mangum, age 56 of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Friday, September 5, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Florence, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C. he was a son of Mary Vincent Roberts and the late Ricky Mangum. Mr. Mangum was a carpenter in the construction industry. He loved to build things. He also enjoyed riding four wheelers and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Stacey Mangum; his brother, Kenneth Lee “Kenny” Roberts; his nephew, Dalton Roberts and his niece, Kendal Roberts.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11:00 o’clock a.m. in Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Kershaw, S.C. The burial will follow in the cemetery. Rev. Larry Humphries will conduct the service.

The family will greet friends following the graveside service in the cemetery.
