Randy Gravitt

Thomas Randall “Randy” Gravitt, age 67, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away June 18, 2021, at MUSC Charleston. He was born August 30, 1953, in Chattanooga, TN. He is the son of Bessie Privette and was the son of the late Tommy Gravitt and stepson of the late Newton Privette. Randy loved working outside and tending to his animals. He loved riding on his golf cart and spending time with family and friends. Randy gave his life to the Lord and loved hearing his wife sing gospel music.

In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by his wife, Carolyn M. Gravitt, of 40 years. He is also survived by his two children; Lauren Holden (Nicky), TJ Gravitt (Katie); his three grandchildren, Camden (11), Hank (5), Thomas (1); his sister. Phyllis Brown (Larry); his nieces, Ashley Williams (Brent), Chelsea Hutchins (Will), and great nieces and nephews, Ayden, Sara Kate, Clay, Macy Bess, and Branson.

There will be a celebration of life service for Randy at Antioch Baptist Church in Lancaster, S.C., Monday, June 21st at 6:30 p.m. The Revs. Dr. Trent McLaughlin and Todd Montgomery will officiate. The family will greet friends following the services.
