Patricia Ann Truesdale Hendrix

Patricia Truesdale “Pat” Hendrix, age 83, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Sunday evening, August 9, 2026, in Karesh at Beechwood, Camden, S.C. Born in Kershaw, S.C. she was a daughter of the late Harry Hampton Truesdale and Ehrline Copeland Truesdale. She retired from Springs Industries. Mrs. Hendrix was of Baptist faith and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Hendrix and his wife, Robyn of Heath Springs, S.C.; 2 grandchildren, Mackie Hendrix and Mollie Hendrix; her brother, Harry K. Truesdale and his wife, Sherry of Kershaw, S.C. and 2 sisters, Leanna T. Funderburk and her husband, Nathan and Brenda T. Lester, both of Camden, S.C.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Douglas “Doug” Hendrix and her special friend and companion, Eldridge Welch Horton.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Frankie Melton and Assistant Pastor Ivan Nazario will officiate the service.

The burial will follow in the cemetery.

The family will greet friends following the service by the graveside.
