Nannie Van Roberts Holland, 88, of Camden, S.C., passed away, Sunday morning, August 7, 2022, at MUSC Kershaw Medical Center, Camden, S.C. Born in the Buffalo community of Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Winthrop Coleman Roberts and Bessie Sullivan Roberts. Van was married to the late Hazel Holland. She attended Hermitage Baptist Church and retired from the textile industry. Van loved to crochet, read and work in her garden. She also enjoyed taking care of people.
She is survived by her grandson, Todd McCaskill of Camden, S.C., her sister, Joann R. Phillips of Kershaw, S.C.; a nephew, Mark Roberts and 2 nieces, LeDale Long and Robbitte Hazel. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Holland McCaskill and her brother, Rev. R.J. Roberts.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday morning, August 11, 2022, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Jason Moss will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
The family will greet friends in the cemetery immediately following.
