Myra Short Small

Myra Short Small, 80, passed away, Tuesday, August 23, at her home. Born in Wadesboro, NC, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Elma Forbis Short. Mrs. Small was a graduate of Wingate College and a homemaker. She was married to the late Curtis David Small who predeceased her in 1998.

Surviving are a son, Alan Small and his wife Lyn; a daughter, Martha S. Alcott and her husband Kevin; a grandson, Curtis Small and his wife Lauren; 2 granddaughters, Erin and Regan Alcott; a great grandson, Milo Small and a sister, Deloris Harris. She was preceded in death also by a sister, Betty Rose Beck and a brother, Bill Short.

The family will gather at the Small family gravesite, located in the Kershaw City Cemetery Wednesday, August 24, at 11:00 a.m. to celebrate her life. The family will greet friends and family following the service at the cemetery.
