Minor Lindsey Love, age 80, of Heath Springs, S.C., passed away, Tuesday morning, May 16, 2023, at his son’s home. Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of the late Minor Lee Love and Ruth Adams Love. He was a welder and a former instructor in welding at Lancaster Vocational School, where he mentored and had a profound impact on the lives of many students. He enjoyed spending time on the family farm riding his tractor and tending to his cows. He was a 1961 graduate of Flat Creek High School, Kershaw, S.C. and was a member of Fork Hill Baptist Church, Heath Springs, S.C. He was married to the late Phyllis Ann Parsons Love who predeceased him March 19, 2022.
He is survived by 2 sons, Bryan Lindsey Love and his wife, Bethany of Blythewood, S.C. and Christopher Lynn Love of Gastonia, N.C. and 4 grandchildren, Ella Lindsey Love, Peyton Elizabeth Love, Bryan Thomas Love and Lilliann Paige Love.
A graveside celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning, May 20, 2023, in Fork Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Heath Springs, S.C. Rev. Dale Walters will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery.
