Michael David "Mike" Price

Michael David “Mike” Price, age 69, passed away, Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his home. Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of Joan Coates Johnson and the late Charles Clyburn Price. Mike was a United States Navy veteran. He enjoyed collecting, hunting and fishing. He especially loved to ride his Harley motorcycle.

He is survived in addition to his mother of Cassatt, S.C., by 2 children, Michelle Price Davis and her husband, Christopher of Huntersville, N.C. and Michael Dylan Price of Kershaw, S.C.; 5 grandchildren, Nathan Hall, Gabriella Davis, Jordan Hall, Chloe Price and Canton Price; 2 brothers, Charles Edward ”Eddie” Price of Kershaw, S.C., Joseph C. “Joey” Price of Camden, S.C. and his sister, Rebecca P. Watkins and her husband, John of Cassatt, S.C.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul H. Price.

A memorial service to remember and celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067. Mr. Steve Winburn will officiate. A private burial will take place in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, S.C.

The family will greet friends following the memorial service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in his memory.
