Mark Edward Aivaz

Mark Edward Aivaz, age 62, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away Sunday evening, July 6, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland, Columbia, S.C. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Joseph Donald Aivaz and Myrtle Janette Christenbury Aivaz. Mr. Aivaz was a truck driver. He enjoyed woodworking, music, and tinkering on things. He especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Candace Blackwell Aivaz; 2 daughters, Heather Aivaz and Ashley Aivaz; 2 grandchildren, Mason Denton and Emily Denton; 2 sisters, Susan Schindler and Faun Elzein; his brother, David Aivaz and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon at Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. The family will greet friends following the gathering at the funeral home.
