Private graveside services for Marion L. Starnes, 86, of Lancaster, will be held Friday, January 11, 2019, in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mr. Starnes passed away, Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. Born in Waxhaw, NC. He was a son of the late Eli and Anna Starnes. Mr. Starnes was a retired retail salesman.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Josephine Williams Starnes; 2 daughters, Maria S. (Jeff) Culp and Teressa S. (Richard) Haile; 2 grandchildren, Brian (Crystal) Culp and Laura C. (Matthew) Pruitt; a step-grandson, Roenn Wallace and a brother, Reese Starnes.
