Margie Carol Stacks

Margie Robertson Stacks, 77, of Heath Springs, passed away, Friday, April 10, 2020, at her home. Born in Heath Springs, she was a daughter of the late James Tommy Robertson and Margaret Owens Robertson. Mrs. Stacks was a graduate of Heath Springs High School and Kings College. She was a former seamstress and a faithful member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She loved spending time with her grandson.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Dean Stacks; her daughter, Melissa S. Carter and her husband Chris of Camden; her grandson, Dawson Hinson; 2 brothers, Gerald Robertson and his wife Naomi of Kershaw, Eugene Robertson and his wife June of Heath Springs , his sister, Eslyn Michaw of Lancaster and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Stacks may be made to Flint Ridge Baptist Church, 1850 Flint Ridge Road, Heath Springs, S.C. 29058.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Stacks will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, April 14, in Flint Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The public is invited to attend. Rev. Kelvin Hinson will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
