Margaret R. Rowell

Graveside services for Margaret Ann Raley Rowell, 87, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 6, 2009, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Gerald McCants will officiate.

Mrs. Rowell, died Tuesday evening, March 3, 2009, at White Oak Manor-Lancaster, where she was a resident. Born in Bethune, she was the daughter of the late Clifton and Lucy Mae Horton Raley. She was the former owner/ operator of Airport Road Laundromat in Lancaster and a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church, Lancaster.

Surviving are a son; Jackie R. Knight and his wife Rhea of Florence, two step-sons; Ernie Rowell and his wife Debbie and Eric Rowell all of Lancaster, two granddaughters; Michelle Coats and her husband Joey of Kershaw and Melissa Martin and her husband Charlie of Florence, four step- grandchildren; Corey, Haley, Emily and Brady Rowell and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son; Johnny A. Knight, a grandson; Michael T. Knight, five sisters and a brother. She was first married to the late Ervin A. Knight and second to the late Ernest W. Rowell.

The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 1:45 to 2:45 at Baker Funeral Home.
