Margaret Holland “Peg” Bryson, 82, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at KershawHealth, Camden, S.C. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Frank M. Holland and Rebecca McPherson Holland. She was a graduate of Columbia College, class of 1959, receiving her BA in education. Mrs. Bryson was a member of Kershaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the Mamie Rice Circle, Kershaw City Cemetery Board of Trustees and a former member of the King Alfred Garden Club. She loved to read, garden and cook. Most importantly she loved and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Surviving are her 3 daughters, Fran B. Graves and her husband, Kyle, Kelly B. Carter and her husband, David and Meg B. Pirkle and her husband, Brant; 7 grandchildren, Lily Graves, Seth Graves and his wife, Amanda, Larson Carter, Maren Carter, McClain Carter, Rebecca Pirkle and Jack Pirkle and a great grandson, Wyatt Graves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Robert “Bob” Bryson and her sister, Fran H. Lucas.
A private family graveside will be held in Kershaw City Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Scott Mosley. Burial will follow the graveside.
