Lula Grace Hargett

Lula Grace Hargett, age 70, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Sunday morning, October 5, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Lancaster, S.C. on March 9, 1955, to the late James William Faile and Luella Morgan Faile. Mrs. Hargett was formerly employed in the textile industry. She loved to crochet, read, work puzzles and color.

She is survived by her son, David “Clifton” Hilton, Jr. of Manning, S.C.; her sister, Sylvia Ann Hilton of Lancaster, S.C.; her brother, William Blake Faile; her nieces and nephew, Rebekah, Randal, Sandra, Amy and Melissa and a number of great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Allen Faile.

The family will greet friends on THURSDAY evening, October 9, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of her niece, 6544 N. Cleveland Street Extension, Kershaw, S.C.

The funeral service will be held on SATURDAY afternoon, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Center Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Mitchell Austin will officiate the service. The burial will follow in the service in the Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Kershaw, S.C.
