Linda Wheeler

Funeral services for Linda Gaye Blanton Wheeler, 61, of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2011 in Potter's House Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Sonny Rogers will officiate.

Mrs. Wheeler, widow of Don Wheeler died, Thursday, April 21, at her home. Born in Davidson, N.C., she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Emma Jean Shelton Blanton. She was a member of Potter's House Church and a homemaker. She loved to fish and put together jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving are her son; Eddie Wheeler and his wife Abbie of Kershaw, 3 grandchildren; Wendy Catoe and her husband Jason, E. J. Wheeler and his wife Heather and Anthony Wheeler, 4 great grandchildren and a number of cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son; Ricky, a daughter-in-law, Angie, a granddaughter; Sammy and a daughter; Carrie.

The family will receive friends Sunday, prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the church and other times at the home, 1360 3C's Road, Kershaw.
