Linda Baker “NaNa” Farmer, 74, of Bethune, passed away, Friday, October 8, 2020 just a few short hours following the death of her husband, Ernest B. “Sonny” Farmer Jr. Born in Camden, SC she was a daughter of the late Henry Carnell and Lillian Blanche Baker. Mrs. Farmer loved watching her favorite tv programs, spending time with family and Facebook. She was an active member of Frontline Biker Church and was a sewing operator.
Surviving are her daughters, Michelle Marshall (Ben), Melissa Kennington (Gerald), Lynn Gause (Ricky), Wendy King (Brandon), and Amanda Byrd (Bradley); grandchildren, Jeremy Kennington, Meleeia Kennington, BJ Marshall(Megan), Kalee Coates (Davey), Nolan Phillips, Eden Mock, Levi Byrd, Thea Grace Mock; 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Watford (Tony) and brother, Jerry Baker (Pam). In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Erica Michelle Broughton; a sister, Brenda Dale Baker and brother, Ricky Baker.
The funeral service for Mrs. Farmer will be held at 2 o’clock, Sunday, October 11, 2020, at the Frontline Biker Church with burial to follow in Timrod Baptist Church Cemetery. Preacher Cotton Pate, Rev. Larry Humphries and the Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin will officiate. The family will greet friends Saturday evening from 5 until 7 o’clock at the funeral home.
