Larry K. Mcdaniel

The family will hold a memorial service for Larry K. McDaniel, 71, of Hartsville, Thursday, February 3, at 4:00 p.m. in Middendorf Baptist Church.

Mr. McDaniel died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, after a long illness in McLeod Hospice House, Florence, surrounded by loved ones. He was employed with Shell Oil Company for 31 years and was a former Mayor of the Town of Jefferson. He also attended Middendorf Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Renee Hoffman McDaniel, 2 grandchildren; Tori Bond and McDaniel Bond all of the home, 2 daughters; Kim Ousley and Karen Jordan and their mother, Lavonna Johnson of Jefferson and her 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son; Kristopher James Bond.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

The family is receiving friends any time at the home, 19143 Hwy 1, Hartsville.
