Keith Wayne "Kenny" Bowers

Keith Wayne “Kenny” Bowers, age 67, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Friday morning, July 25, 2025, at Springdale Healthcare Center, Camden, S.C. where he was a resident. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was the son of the late Jack Wayne Bowers and Louise Carnes Bowers. He was in the pulpwood industry and was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

Kenny enjoyed cutting grass, washing cars, playing cards and word search puzzles. He also enjoyed playing with his nephews. Kenny married the late Mollie Watts Bowers.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory 5 sisters, Yvette (Gary) Williams, Yvonne Johnson, Reba (Vernie) Faile, Shirley (Charles) Hollis, and Debbie (Carroll) Langley, nieces and nephews, Patricia, David, Sharon, Becky, Lynette, Charlene, Duane, Sherry, Tammy, Desira and Adrienna. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Brown and nephews, Michael, Randall Lee, Brian Keith and Everette.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, July 26, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held, Sunday afternoon, July 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Buffalo Baptist Church. The Rev. Michael Owens will officiate. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
