Judson Lee Williams

Funeral services for Judson Lee Williams, 78, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 2, 2011, in Pineview Baptist Church, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Gregory Gunter will officiate.

Mr. Williams died Thursday, December 30, 2010, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of Joseph Franklin and Nellie Horton Williams. Mr. Williams was a former employee of Springs Industries and retired from Allied-Signal as a supervisor. Mr. Williams was also a member of Pineview Baptist Church and a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife; Ethel Reeves Williams of the home, a daughter; Linda Gail Eastman (Wayne) of Leesville, and 2 sons; Lanny Ray Williams (Tina) of Kershaw and Ronnie Williams of Charleston, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a sister; Mozelle W. Sellers (Jim) of Heath Springs, and a brother; Jerry M. Williams (Rebecca) of Richburg. He was preceded in death by a brother; Dean K. Williams and a sister; Jo Lynn Knipher.

The family will receive friends following the committal service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
