Joyce Thompson Robinson

Joyce Thompson Robinson, age 78 of Kershaw, S.C., widow of Larry Franklin Robinson, passed away, Wednesday July 16, 2025, at Springhill Assisted Living, Pageland, S.C., where she was a resident. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was the daughter of the late John T. Thompson and Sarah Hunter Thompson Phillips.

Mrs. Robinson was a registered nurse and a member of Kennebec Baptist Church of Angier, N.C. She loved to crochet and work in her flowers.

She is survived by 2 sons; Larry Franklin “Frankie” Robinson (Tracy) and Christopher Mark “Chris” Robinson (Leslie); 3 grandchildren, Bradley “B” Robinson (Natalie), Kayla Robinson (Thomas Edwards), and Jacob Robinson; a great grandson, Jon Thomas Robinson; 2 step grandchildren, Kayleigh Wood and Howell Wood; her sister-in-law, Frances Thompson and her brother-in-law, Randy Robinson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Pete Thompson.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 210 East Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.

The family will receive friends following the service in Baker Funeral Home.
