Joyce M. Reppart

Joyce M. Reppart, 77, of Lancaster, S.C., wife of the late Kenneth “Ken” Reppart, died Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Joyce was born on January 2, 1948, to the late Catherine B. and Miles B. Keithly.

She was instantly recognizable by her trademark hair bun and the contagious smile that lit up every room. She worked in the business office at Springs Memorial Hospital, later at Lancaster Eye Clinic, and retired from Story Eye. She truly loved her work and the people she served.

Her compassion extended well beyond her career. She had a soft spot for every animal, except snakes and lizards, and was a faithful team mom throughout her son’s school years, from Cub Scouts to Dixie Youth Baseball and Lancaster Wrestling.

In retirement, she found joy in the little things: collecting cookbooks, teapots, and Elvis memorabilia, and spending hours watching “David in the Kitchen” on QVC. Her life was defined by service, laughter, and love.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Reppart (Marie) of Laurens and Chris Reppart (Heather) of Newberry. Joyce was blessed with eight grandchildren, Myranda, Myles, Ethan, Fischer, Madison, McKenzie, McKenley, Mason and great-granddaughter, Amelia.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Peyton Reppart.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. The family will greet friends following the gathering at the funeral home.
