John Whitley

John Whitley, 50 of Kershaw, died Wednesday, September 28, at his home. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late William C. and Elizabeth Ann Young Whitley. He enjoyed fishing, watching television and listening to music.

Surviving are his wife, Tina Hunter Whitley of the home; 3 sisters, Margaret W. Williams of Kershaw, Dorothy Roseann Talley of New Braunfels, TX, Linda Lee Stillian of Inola, OK; a brother, William Glen Whitley of Georgetown; his mother-in-law, Margaret Adams of Heath Springs; his brother-in-law, Ruben Hunter; his sister-in-law, Jamie Hall both of Lancaster and 17 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service remembering his life will be held at a later date.
