Joey A. Vincent

Joey Allan Vincent, age 67, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Wednesday morning, September 17, 2025, at his home. Born in Camden, S.C. he was the son of the late Willie Jeff “Bill” Vincent and Clara Threatt Vincent. He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Mr. Vincent first started his career working at Springs Industries for 13 years, transitioning to E.I. du Pont Co. for 20 years and lastly working for Allvac for the last 20 years. He was an avid Ham Radio operator. He enjoyed camping and gaming.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Tammy Beckom Vincent; 2 children, his daughter, Shannon Wessinger and her husband, Eric of Lexington, S.C. and Christopher Vincent and his wife Eva where he is stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C. in the Marine Corps; 6 grandchildren, Jaime Wessinger, Shaun Wessinger, Jameson Vincent-Amaya, Clara Vincent-Amaya, Harmony Vincent-Amaya and Isaih Vincent-Amaya and his sister, Kathy West and her husband, Jesse of Lugoff, S.C.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 1:00 o’clock p.m. in the sanctuary of Buffalo Baptist Church, Kershaw, S.C. The Rev. Paul Stephens and Mr. Jason West will conduct the service. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends following the committal service in the church Family Life Center.
