Joan Taylor Shrewsbury

A service of remembrance for Joan Taylor Shrewsbury, 46, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 20, in Abney Baptist church, Kershaw. The Rev. Dr. Todd Morris and Doug Humphries will officiate.

Mrs. Shrewsbury died Thursday, December 17. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Rev. Thomas F. and Jeanette McInvaille Taylor. She was a strong Christian and a wonderful person. Her faith showed any time you were around her. She was an active member of Rock Church.

Surviving in addition to her parents of Kershaw are her husband; Rickey Shrewsbury of King, NC, two sons; Johnny and Michael Shrewsbury of King, NC and two sisters; Desiree Edwards and Sally Hughes and a brother; Tim Cameron She is also served by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
