Jerry R. Faulkenberry

Jerry Rodgers Faulkenberry, 83, of Rock Hill, SC went home on June 19, 2026.

He was born on August 18, 1942, in Camden, SC to the late Dan Faulkenberry and Nell Horton Faulkenberry. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Faulkenberry and his two sons; Jason and Derek Faulkenberry.

Jerry was a man whose life was defined by faith, family and simple joys. Honest, humble and hardworking, he lived each day with quiet strength and a heart devoted to God and those he loved.

A faithful member of his church, Jerry's strong faith guided his life and touched everyone who knew him. He found great joy in serving others, building friendships, and sharing God's love through his actions.

Family was at the center of Jerry's world. He treasured time spent with his loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. Whether gathered around the table playing games, sharing stories, or simply enjoying one another's company, Jerry's presence brought warmth and laughter to every occasion.

Known for his remarkable memory, Jerry rarely forgot a face, date or a story. He loved working in his yard and took pride in caring for his home and surroundings. He also had a sweet spot for milkshakes and never passed up an opportunity to enjoy a favorite treat but was always too young to drink coffee.

Jerry's life was a beautiful example of kindness, faithfulness, and love. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. We find comfort and peace knowing that Jerry's faith has become sight and that he is now made whole in the presence of his Savior.

Those left to cherish his memory are his precious wife, Helen Deese Faulkenberry, daughter, Heather Faulkenberry Everhart (Jason), Daughters in Law; Jana Faulkenberry and Lisa Besser, Grandchildren; Sydney, Joseph, Jack, Emma, Andrew, Becca, Henry, Noah, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, June 23, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1659 Kershaw Highway, Camden, SC.

Memorials may be made to the National Foundation for Cancer Research as this foundation was dear to Jerry's heart in honor of his mother.

Arrangements are under the care of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, SC
