Jerry Eugene Reeves

Jerry Eugene Reeves, 72, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Sunday evening, February 12, 2023, at his home. Born in Lancaster County, he was a son of the late James Walter Reeves and Lois Morgan Reeves. He was a former employee of Springs Industries where he was a supervisor and pipe fitter. He enjoyed working. Mr. Reeves was a graduate of Kershaw High School, Class of 1969 and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by 2 sons, Stephen E. (Betty) Reeves of Kershaw, S.C.; Chris (Debbie) Reeves of Bethune, S.C.; his daughter, Tina (Lewis) Williams of Kershaw, S.C.; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Rev. Larry (Lela) Reeves of Heath Springs, S.C. and Tim (Darlene) Reeves of Lancaster, S.C. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jessie Reeves.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Baker Conference Center, 105 North Minor Street, Kershaw, S.C.

The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the Conference Center. The Revs. Mitchell Austin and Larry Reeves will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
